YANINA ROZOVSKAYA
Yanina is a classical pianist with an extensive experience in piano pedagogy and in accompaniment.
She received her Bachelor's degree in piano performance and piano pedagogy from Tashkent State Music College and her Master's degree in piano performance and piano pedagogy from Tashkent State Conservatory of Music, former USSR.
She graduated with qualification as a soloist, accompanist, collaborative musician and piano teacher.
Yanina received her education under well-known teachers, who represented piano schools of world famous musicians such as Vessarion Slonim and Dmitry Bashkirov.
While Yanina studied at the Conservatory she interned in pedagogy at Uspensky Specialized Music School for musically gifted students as an assistant teacher to Natalia Vasinkina, renown for her top-prize winning students, at competitions such as Santander piano competition and the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.
After completing her study at the Conservatory Yanina worked as a teacher of piano and as a violin accompanist at Tashkent Music school, and also as a piano teacher and a choreography accompanist at Tashkent College of choreography.
In the US she worked as a piano teacher and a violin accompanist at Little Neck Music Center, and at New York Institute of Culture & The Arts.
Currently she teaches piano at Shostakovich School of Music, NY, as well as at her private piano studio.
Yanina is a Board member of the Piano Teachers Congress(PTC) of New York, and a Co-Chair of the PTC 's Piano Recitals program.
She is also a Founder Teacher of the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM)
Her students certify their preparation and qualifications by taking RCM exams up to 10th grade level and at ACT level in piano performance, music theory, harmony, music history, and they receive highest markings with respect to the exams' evaluation criteria.
