Asian Composer Award – $100
The Asian Composer Award recognizes an applicant with an outstanding performance of an original piano piece by an Asian composer.

Latinx Voices Award – $100
Made possible by the support of Walter Aparicio

This prize celebrates the outstanding interpretations of works by underrepresented Latin American composers. Open to students of all levels, it aims to spotlight the rich and diverse musical traditions of Latin America, encouraging performers to explore and bring to life works by composers who have historically received less recognition on the concert stage. Students and teachers are encouraged to present works from countries and composers that are typically underrepresented in recital programs.

For questions or a list of suggested repertoire please email: walteraparicio@gmail.com

Winners’ Recital performers are expected to purchase a package consisting of five (5) tickets to
the Winners’ Recital, professional photographs, and a certificate (total cost: $200)
