The Fall Incentive Program is a series of short recitals with an encouraging and supportive atmosphere. Students of all ages and levels are welcome to apply. Teachers may register students with the option of receiving performance evaluations from a panel of adjudicators. Evaluations will be sent to the teachers of all those requesting evaluated performances. Recitals are open to the public; we encourage audiences to attend and support all performers. Performers deemed by the adjudicators to display especially solid musical and technical preparation will be showcased in the celebratory Encore Recital.
Recital programming and scheduling takes various factors into consideration, including repertoire, level, age, and program balance. Program Chairs make every reasonable effort grant the applicant’s preferred performance date, and to schedule recitals to enable teacher attendance. It may not be possible to grant every request; the chairs reserve the right to make the final determination of the performance schedule.
